Weekly Drop-in Classes

About the classes

Our drop-in weekly meditation classes and most of our daycourses and many retreats are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.  For a location near you, check the menu on the lower right hand side.

We meditate sitting on chairs to ensure that everyone is comfortable. There is no physical exercise involved.

The general structure of the class:

  • Simple guided meditation
  • Teaching on how to solve problems in daily life
  • Another meditation or questions & answers

Attending the class

Weekly drop-in classes are organized as short courses, usually 3, 4 or 5 weeks long. You can attend the whole course or simply drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained, or you can just come along to try a session.

You do not need to book in advance, simply find a meditation class near you and enrol when you arrive.

Our classes provide a basic introduction to Buddhist view, meditation, and practice that is suitable for beginners. They also include advanced teachings and practices from both Sutra and Tantra. Classes, which are usually held in the evenings, are open to everyone and are supplemented by optional day courses, weekend courses, and meditation retreats.  Drop-in classes are offered througout the Fraser Valley and BC interior at many different venues.  Please check the drop down menu on the lower right to find a location.

No pre-registration is necessary for any of our regular classes. Payment can be made at the door. Discount series passes are issued upon payment on the first day of a session. A drop-in fee can also be made if you prefer to attend a single class.

No special clothing or gear is needed to attend any of our classes. Just bring yourself!
