Teacher Linda MacShane

Each class consists of two guided meditations, a talk, and time for questions. The classes are ideal for beginners, with plenty of advice on how to meditate, find peace of mind, and lead a more peaceful and positive life. The classes can be taken as a series or you can drop-in to just one.

These classes are based on the book Modern Buddhism by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (check out emodernbuddhism.com for a free e-copy of this book!). This special presentation of Buddha’s teachings on compassion and wisdom communicates their essence in a way that is easy to understand and put into practice. By developing and maintaining compassion and wisdom in daily life, we can transform our lives, improve our relationships with others, and look behind appearances to see the way things actually exist. In this way we can solve all our daily problems and accomplish the real meaning of our human life.
