Exemplifying the Buddhist faith through public service is central to the ethos of Kadampa Buddhism, and it is this philosophy that underlies the World Peace Café.
Inspired by the vision of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, World Peace Cafés exist to promote peace throughout the world. All profits are used for building Kadampa Temples dedicated to world peace for the benefit of this and future generations.
The World Peace Café will serve only pure organic vegetarian food while providing a calm and relaxed environment in which to take a break or meet up with friends.
