Gen Delek is a Western Buddhist nun who has been teaching meditation for 24 years. She is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Fraser Valley in Abbotsford. Her weekly teachings were are recorded and listened to in Vernon and Salmon Arm every week, and she visits the Okanagan area 2 or 3 times a year to give special courses.

Friday April 27, 7-8:30pm

Recognizing Anger

A talk with 2 guided meditations on how to understand the inner enemy of irritation, frustration, impatience and anger.

Saturday, April 28, 10am-1pm

Practising Patience

A morning of talks and meditations on how to develop a genuine patience that is able to stay cool in the face of adversity.

10-11:15am  Talk and meditation

11:15-11:45am  Break with refreshments

11:45-1pm  Talk and meditation

$40 for both days
$15 for Friday
