Description: “Meditation for Kids” introduces children to simple Buddhist teachings and meditations. Every class will emphasize loving-kindness and the cultivation of a positive attitude. Classes will include simple prayers, fun activities, and discussions relevant to children’s every day experiences. Each class is self-contained, so bring your kids to any Sunday that suits your family. Parents are asked to attend with younger children (ages 4-6). Parents may attend with their older child or have the option to join us for “Meditations for World Peace” downstairs. All are welcome!
Teacher: Kelsang Migden has taught children formally for many years and is a qualified meditation teacher. Her friendly manner and sense of humour make her an excellent choice for teaching children’s meditation classes.
