Our Vernon meditation class do not resume until March 3rd and will be at some other location to be announced due to extensive renovations of the Seaton Centre. On March 10th we expect the class will be at the Village Green Hotel (Monashee room) and led by Gen Sanden in person who will be giving a course on finding freedom from depression the next day. Sorry for the inconvenience…we will let you know the venues as soon as possible during the renovation time.
Also our Thursday evening class in Surrey (Newton library) is cancelled. We are looking for another venue to hold these classes at. The morning class at Surrey City Central Library is continuing!
The purpose of meditation is to make the mind calm and peaceful. When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and the mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment arises naturally from within. – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
